Sterling with gilt interior thimble shaped cup. A harkening to the days when just a thimbleful of drink meant something, namely a rapid and pronounced increase in the size of thimbles.
This one is marked “Only A Thimble Full” in a Victorian or Edwardian era script. It is also marked as Sterling. A perfect size for doling out concentrated spirits or crocodile tears.
It stands 1 7/8 inches tall and weighs 1.13 troy ounces. In excellent condition.
