Several years ago this made an appearance at our annual art sale / fundraiser the Chair Affair created by artist Kim Short. The piece was recently donated back to us and we are happy to offer it again.
An interesting metal sheet sculptural figure built on a valet chair and standing about 55 inches tall. Would look great in my back garden next to the gun-bearing girl, peering over a fence or in a living space without rambunctious young children.
It’s evocative of many things, possibly including but not necessarily limited to 1) contemporary industrial psychology, 2) Ned Kelly, 3) Hollywood, 4) that other thing . . .
