Three Knives, Two Forks & A Razor

IMG_2504

While reminiscent of dinner with extended family it’s actually just a collection of things that both do and do not go together.

Three late 19th Century dinner knives with bone handles and aluminum accents. Marked “American Cutlery Company” and in good condition. Set for $15.

Two old forks that also look to be late 19th century. In good condition. $4 each

“I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That’s my dream; that’s my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor… and surviving.”

Old straight razor with box but no snails . . . $15. I used to own one like this but abandoned it in haste while learning that hippies and second lieutenants can really lead one astray, a  valuable lesson.
