Part Time Non-Profit Thrift Store Manager (Tualatin)

Community Warehouse is Portland’s local, nonprofit furniture bank. We collect and redistribute donated furniture and household goods to neighbors in need. Through partnerships with 180 social service agencies, families visit the Warehouse to get the essential furnishings they need to create safer, comfortable, and happy homes.
A critical part of supporting our mission is the sale of a small percentage of items (3-5%) raising 1/3 of the organization’s operations budget. We achieve this via several methods including two retail locations.
We are looking to add a goal oriented sales manager to our team. The position will be based at our Tualatin location. This person will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations. This includes: selecting antique, vintage, collectible and ‘high-end’ items for sale, ensuring they are in salable condition, pricing and display. Additionally they will work with volunteers, promote the store and maintain a focus of store operations while maintaining balance with charitable program needs.

Please read the job description below and if you think you’ll be a good fit we’re looking forward to hearing from you.
